As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in monitoring and managing entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service to all employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you may be responsible for operating company vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises according to site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and instructions from management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
