As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Facility - Full Time in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a crucial role in promoting a secure and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This position requires you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties, so an armed guard card and a valid driver's license are essential. You will also provide exceptional customer service, offering assistance and clear communication to everyone you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when possible.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the medical center, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and report any security-related hazards or unusual circumstances, documenting incidents according to site requirements.
• Assist medical staff and visitors with directions and general information while maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
• Operate and maintain awareness of security-related equipment and technology as assigned for the post.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed in response to incidents.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines regarding the carrying and use of authorized firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
