Job Description


As a Security Professional Patrol Officer in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you perform routine patrols throughout the property. You will be expected to remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and staff. This role requires you to be proactive and approachable, assisting with access control, responding to alarms, and supporting the overall experience of everyone on site. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Work closely with property management and/or tenants to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate written reports of daily activities and incidents.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and the client.
  • Remain alert and attentive while on duty to help to deter potential risks to the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
