As a Security Officer - Healthcare Front Desk in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors, staff, and guests. Your role will focus on providing a welcoming and professional presence while monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and responding promptly to inquiries or security-related incidents. You will help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment through attentive observation and communication. This post requires strong customer service skills as you interact with a diverse range of individuals, making a positive impact on their experience. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license in the job state is required. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access control at the facility entrance, verifying identification and visitor credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the healthcare location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and/or emergency situations according to company and client procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including contacting appropriate personnel and providing directions to emergency responders.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at the front desk, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license in the job state is required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
