Job Description


As a Security Professional - Access Control in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points and managing access to the facility, helping to deter unauthorized activity and supporting a secure environment for all personnel and assets. Your role involves conducting routine patrols of designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear and professional communication. You will interact with staff, visitors, and contractors, verifying credentials and responding to inquiries with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to support security-related procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and support site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
