As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within a high-end retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing a reassuring presence for employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted incidents within the retail environment.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees.
• Operate as an armed security professional in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
