As a Security Professional -- Distribution Center Patrol - Full Time in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors and employees with entry procedures. You will conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to any unusual activity promptly. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures to support security-related functions and provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities observed during shifts.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all access control activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
