As a Security Guard - Campus Site Patrol - Full Time in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and clear communication, as you will frequently interact with individuals on campus and provide assistance as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and general activity within the premises to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
