As a Security Officer - - Armed Government Facility Patrol - Full Time in Burgaw, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in supporting a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols across assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding quickly to any situations that arise. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to carry out your duties with a high level of professionalism and readiness while operating a vehicle as needed. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings as required.
• Assist in emergency response activities as appropriate to the site and situation.
• Maintain awareness of the environment and report any potential concerns to management or appropriate authorities.
• Follow all instructions related to the handling and carrying of assigned equipment and/or weapons as required by the post profile.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an active Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
