As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting the security-related needs of a leading logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling entry points, conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, and helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with personnel, visitors, and contractors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activities or security-related breaches to appropriate personnel.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
• Assist with the implementation of emergency response activities and support evacuation procedures if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
