As a Security Officer - - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time in Newport News, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, helping to deter security-related incidents, and remaining highly visible to support a sense of protection for employees, visitors, and property. You will also be counted on to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, building trust and positive interactions with everyone onsite. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or suspicious behavior encountered during patrols.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding incidents, issues, or concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment within the facility.
• Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations according to site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
