As a Security Officer Armed Utility Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment at a critical utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to security-related situations. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared and equipped to handle various scenarios while operating company or client vehicles as needed. You will engage with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity within the utilities environment and report findings as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the utilities location.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
