Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible to provide a reassuring presence for tenants and visitors, as well as deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to visitors, tenants, and staff.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
