As a Security Officer – Utilities Site Patrol in Winchester, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment at a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations as they arise. In this driving post, you will also be responsible for operating a vehicle while monitoring assigned areas, making sure all security-related protocols are followed. You will have the opportunity to interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities found during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or screening visitors as required by site protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to support security-related operations and address any concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
