As a Security Officer - Armed Site - Full Time in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at your assigned location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents, remaining highly visible, and responding to situations as needed. This is an armed post, so you will be required to carry a firearm and possess the appropriate Level III Armed Certification for Texas. You will also provide outstanding customer service, engage with visitors and employees, and communicate important information clearly and professionally. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and maintaining a visible presence.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any observed irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Carry and maintain authorized firearms in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required.
• Assist local law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification for Texas required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
