As a Security Officer - Financial Site - Weekdays in Shirley, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for a leading financial institution. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will engage with employees, clients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Working in this dynamic financial setting, you will utilize your observation skills and professionalism to support a positive atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter potential security-related risks within the location.
• Communicate observed concerns or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
