As a Security Officer - Armed Site Patrol in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a retail setting. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. In this armed position, you will be expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and responsibility, all while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication to guests and staff. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other criminal activity within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification for Texas required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
