As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Overnight Shift in Cheyenne, WY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be primarily responsible for conducting regular patrols throughout the property, with a focus on driving to cover larger areas efficiently. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to tenants, visitors, and staff. You will engage with individuals on-site, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing any questions or concerns. By observing and reporting any unusual activity, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to address security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to building occupants and visitors.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, maintenance issues or hazards identified during patrols according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • This position is primarily a driving post; driving experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
