As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a major food and beverage production location. Your day will involve monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall security-related needs of the facility. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises according to site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or policy violations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal management to support a secure and orderly environment within the food and beverage production location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
