As a Security Officer - Healthcare Center Patrol - Full Time in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, manage access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your responsibilities include verifying credentials, assisting individuals with access needs, and providing outstanding customer service while responding to inquiries or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Support access control procedures at the healthcare location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with inquiries related to access and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of security-related concerns.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding incidents or issues that arise during the shift.
• Document observations, incidents, and access control activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
