As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to a transportation-focused location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols of the premises. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you monitor the area and interact with the public. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document security-related incidents and report findings to Allied Universal management as per site requirements.
• Remain alert to surroundings and communicate with team members and/or local authorities as necessary during incidents.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post, so prior driving experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
