As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and clients, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Your primary role will involve monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with security-related inquiries, all while providing exceptional customer service. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document activities and communicate with team members, helping to deter potential security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive approach. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, employees, and clients at the front desk and provide a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with general inquiries related to the location.
• Report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed, maintaining composure and professionalism throughout.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
