As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Specialist - Afternoon Shift in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the food and beverage production location.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
