As a Security Professional - Unarmed Retail Site Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at a retail and mall location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and serving as a reassuring presence for both visitors and staff. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service, respond promptly to inquiries, and communicate clearly in all situations. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities and/or persons to appropriate personnel as required.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the retail environment to help to deter criminal activity and provide assistance as needed.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
