As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control measures. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing any security-related concerns that may arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for any unusual activity or conditions, reporting observations and/or incidents according to established protocols.
• Support a positive experience for employees and visitors by assisting with directions, information, and general inquiries.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
