As a Security Guard - Unarmed Post - Full Time in Hermiston, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage production location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, monitoring access points, and assisting with badge verification. You will be highly visible throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This position is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are central to your role, as you interact with staff and visitors daily. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior in and around the facility.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues identified during patrols.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within the food and beverage production setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof of completion.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and applicants must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
