As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Officer in Queens, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to any situations as they arise. You will interact professionally with building occupants and visitors, offering assistance and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Observe and report security-related matters, documenting incidents and/or concerns as directed by Allied Universal policy.
• Assist authorized personnel and visitors as needed, providing directions or information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services if required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any maintenance hazards encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
