As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Clarksburg, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within an aerospace and defense environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related concerns, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain control of your assigned weapon at all times while adhering to strict protocols and professionalism. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Support access control by verifying credentials and helping to manage entry points throughout the location.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of observations, incidents, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
