As a Security Officer - Access Control - Unarmed in Yadkinville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials of personnel and visitors. Your presence at access control points will help to deter potential security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols of designated areas, remaining visible to provide reassurance and assistance as needed. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Perform regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Follow all security-related procedures and site-specific policies to support a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals to designated areas and supporting first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
