As a Security Professional - Hospital Campus Patrol in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct regular patrols of the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide prompt assistance when needed. Your presence and attentiveness contribute to a positive experience for everyone on site, while your strong communication and customer service skills help to address questions and support those in need. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, maintaining detailed and accurate records as required by site protocols.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere while upholding security-related standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support access control requirements and adherence to location-specific policies.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or emergencies, and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
