As a Security Professional - Unarmed Site - Full Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment at a shelter location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. You will be counted on to communicate clearly and respond swiftly to any situations that may arise, always upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the shelter location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address any concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents as required by site protocols.
• Assist shelter staff and visitors with security-related needs and/or questions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to occupants.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of security-related experience.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
