As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a shelter location, you will play a key role in creating a secure environment for all individuals on site. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide support to those in need. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
