As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in supporting a secure environment at a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned area, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. This post requires you to be armed, so you must be prepared to act with professionalism and integrity at all times. You will also interact with staff, visitors, and the public, providing excellent customer service and clear communication to address any concerns or questions. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal for the assigned government location.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, staff, and/or contractors in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise on the premises.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during critical situations.
• Maintain visibility and a professional presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disruptions.
• Follow all protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms as required for the assigned armed post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
