As a Security Professional with Allied Universal assigned to a government location, you will play a key role in access control and security-related operations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access, all while conducting routine patrols within your assigned area. You will remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and guests as needed. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document observations and/or incidents as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or law enforcement as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
