As a Security Professional - Armed - Government Site in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols across designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help prevent security-related issues, and responding promptly to any incidents or requests for assistance. This armed position requires you to remain alert and professional at all times, while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and maintaining awareness of individuals on the premises.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Carry and operate assigned firearms responsibly in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
