As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Unarmed in Columbia, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the assigned property, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote peace of mind for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to maintaining order and addressing any security-related concerns that may arise. In this role, you will also provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with the public, and respond promptly to inquiries or requests for assistance. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues identified during patrols or while on post.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and/or property representatives regarding incidents or security-related matters.
• Follow all site-specific procedures and post orders as directed by Allied Universal and/or property management.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and other security-related tasks as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
