As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be an important presence within a dynamic retail environment, helping to foster a secure and welcoming atmosphere for guests, employees, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with maintaining a welcoming environment for staff and customers.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activities, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas as required by site-specific procedures.
• Support the enforcement of property rules and regulations while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address security-related needs and concerns in the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
