As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the hospital, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, assist with access control, and support hospital staff as needed, including situations that may require restraint or emergency response. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing knowledge of healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to promote a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and information as needed, maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
• Applicants must be able to assist in restraining individuals as needed in a hospital environment.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
