As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Financial in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be an integral part of maintaining a secure environment at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing a reassuring presence for employees, visitors, and clients. You will interact with individuals in a professional and approachable manner, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This role is ideal for those who enjoy being active throughout their shift and are comfortable using technology such as computers or tablets. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to address security-related needs and support daily operations.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity in and around the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
