As a Security Officer - - Distribution Center Patrol - Full Time in SUN VALLEY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play an important role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and professional interactions. You will be relied upon to monitor access points, support badge and access control procedures, and assist with incident response as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including business interiors and perimeters, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries or provide assistance related to security-related matters.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
