As a Security Officer - Tech Site - Full Time in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location. You will engage with employees, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming atmosphere. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Communicate observations and/or incidents promptly to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client contacts as directed.
• Document activities, observations, and/or incidents according to site guidelines and Allied Universal policies.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to maintain a security-related presence and assist in the protection of people and property within the tech and media environment.
• Remain aware of the environment and changing conditions, adapting responses as needed to support a secure location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions.
• A Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
