As a Security Officer - Industrial Site Patrol - PT in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, building positive relationships with those you encounter. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.
  • Observe for unusual activity, report any security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
  • Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt to varying working conditions based on the needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
