As a Security Guard - Hotel Patrol - Overnight Shift in Peoria, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a premier hotel and resort location. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to guests, staff, and visitors. You will interact with a diverse range of people, using your communication skills to address concerns and offer assistance as needed. This position also requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests at the hotel and resort location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the hotel and resort premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel and/or management.
  • Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and visitors to address questions, provide directions, and offer assistance as needed.
  • Complete required reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as directed by Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
