As a Security Guard - Healthcare Site - Weekdays in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any concerns that arise. You will also provide exceptional customer service by assisting individuals with directions, answering questions, and communicating clearly and professionally. In this dynamic role, you will use your observational skills and professionalism to support the unique needs of a healthcare location, while upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and caring for people. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare settings.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other urgent situations.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and interactions as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
