As a Security Professional - Retail Site - Full Time in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a vibrant retail location. In this unarmed patrol position, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, addressing incidents as they arise, and delivering excellent customer service through clear communication and a caring approach. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail and mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming environment for guests and tenants.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and driving experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
