As a Security Officer - Industrial Site - Multiple Shifts in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to create a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the site, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and/or potential hazards to help to deter unwanted incidents within the location.
• Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate observations and/or concerns as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions within the location and respond according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
