As a Security Officer – Healthcare Site - Overnight Shift in Tuscaloosa, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a key role in supporting a secure atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service through professional interactions. This post is primarily a driving position, requiring you to navigate the location's grounds and respond to various situations as needed, while upholding the highest standards of communication and teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
• Assist in emergency response activities as required at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or security-related incidents within the healthcare environment.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that are primarily driving posts, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
