As a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol in Winnemucca, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the assigned areas. Your presence and proactive communication will help to create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall security-related needs of the site. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service as you address inquiries and assist with access control. This driving post requires you to navigate the property, responding promptly to situations as they arise, and maintaining detailed activity reports. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying the credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts by following established protocols and participating in drills as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that primarily involve driving, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or applicable license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
