As a Security Officer- Unarmed Site - Morning Shift in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic retail and entertainment location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any incidents. You will interact with guests and staff, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This position requires carrying a firearm as part of your duties and driving company or client vehicles as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, site representatives, and local authorities as needed.
• Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and/or other security-related equipment in accordance with company and site-specific protocols.
• Support a welcoming environment for all guests and staff through positive interactions and visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard Card or applicable license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
