As a Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting a secure environment at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and providing a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, delivering exceptional customer service while upholding access control protocols. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Document security-related incidents and observations according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address concerns and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preference given to those with prior experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
